ABOUT THIS COFFEE

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Aricha Kurume comes from the highlands of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia — a region widely regarded as the birthplace of coffee. Produced by smallholder farmers in the village of Aricha, this lot reflects the clarity, elegance, and layered complexity that Ethiopian coffees are celebrated for.

Grown at elevations reaching up to 2300 MASL, the slow maturation of the Kurume varietal helps develop refined florals, citrus brightness, and delicate fruit sweetness. Through the washed process, the fruit is removed before drying, allowing the cup’s clean structure and vibrant character to shine through.

In pourover, the cup opens soft and floral, followed by notes of lemon, peach, and blueberry, before settling into a gentle honeyed sweetness with a clean tea-like finish.
