Birds of Subic Bay book by Vinz Pascua

Haring Ibon presents Birds of Subic Bay by Vinz Pascua—an award-winning publication that captures the richness of birdlife within one of the Philippines’ most diverse natural landscapes. Released during the 32nd Anniversary of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, the book stands as both a visual archive and a reflection of the region’s ecological identity.

Beyond the pages, the project represents a shared effort—to document, appreciate, and protect Philippine wildlife. It reflects a growing connection between community, conservation, and storytelling, where nature is not only observed, but deeply understood.

This work was made possible through the support of partners and advocates in Subic Bay, whose continued commitment helps preserve and celebrate the country’s natural heritage for future generations.
