Here, Acu Sicayang, a Taiwanese farmer, set out to grow one of the world's most sought-after coffee varieties in Philippine soil. His journey began with a vision to produce exceptional Gesha coffee locally, bringing seedlings from Panama to the Philippines in 2018. After years of experimentation, setbacks, and careful adjustments, he succeeded in cultivating Gesha in the country's highlands.

Growing at approximately 1,737 meters above sea level, ACU Coffee Farm benefits from the cool highland conditions of Mount Apo. The farm spans more than seven hectares, with around four hectares dedicated to Gesha. Known for its delicate nature and demanding growing requirements, the variety calls for patience, precision, and close attention throughout cultivation.

Beyond growing coffee, Acu's work represents a step forward for Philippine specialty coffee. He has expressed his commitment to sharing his knowledge and experience with fellow local farmers, helping open more opportunities for Philippine-grown Gesha to reach specialty coffee markets.

This lot is processed using the washed method, allowing the coffee's character to come through with clarity. In the cup, blueberry and green apple bring a balance of fruitiness and brightness, while jasmine adds a delicate floral character. Honey rounds out the profile with a gentle sweetness, creating a cup that feels clean, expressive, and balanced.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0907/5441/6920/files/HP_Card_Acu-Gesha_Stroke_f317eef8-48e8-41f4-a681-5a8752198078.png?v=1791871709
